Shawnae has had a passion for animals since she was little, growing up with cats, dogs, horses, and chickens. If any animal was ever hurt she was always there with her mom to take them to the vet and get them the care they needed. Shawnae now has a dog she’s bottle fed since 3 days old, 2 cats she rescued and children of her own. She wasn’t sure exactly what she wanted to do right after high school so she became a licensed cosmetologist. Since 2014 Shawnae has been in the veterinary field, growing and learning every day. Shawnae obtained her CVT license in Wisconsin while her Naval husband was stationed there, and is now a LVT in Washington. Her favorite thing about this field is seeing critical patients turn around and get better. On her free time she loves spending time with her family, refurbishing furniture, and exploring the woods.
