“Dr. Franzak is originally from Jefferson, Maryland where grew up owning animals including dogs, cats, chickens, horses, snakes, and geckos. After graduating with a degree in Animal Science from the University of Maryland, he attended the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine where he received a masters degree in public health as well as a doctorate in veterinary medicine While on an internship in Washington, Dr. Franzak fell in love with the wildlife, mountains, and scenery of the Pacific Northwest, and decided to move to the area upon graduation. Since beginning to practice, Dr. Franzak has gained experience in wellness care, emergency medicine, orthopedic surgery, and soft tissue surgery. 

When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Franzak enjoys hiking, golfing, fishing, and exploring the many National Parks in the area.”
