Dr. Allyson Tucker was born in northern California and obtained her undergraduate degree in Film and Digital Media from University of California, Santa Cruz. She spent some time working on low-budget movies and other media content in Los Angeles, but she knew that the Hollywood life and working on sets was not the right fit because it kept her from her dog for too many hours per day. Dr. Tucker then spent several years working as a veterinary assistant before attending Michigan State University to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Tucker enjoys hiking and exploring with her husband and their dog, Gandalf. She also runs races and has participated in events such as the San Francisco Bay to Breakers and the Detroit International Half Marathon.
Dr. Tucker is excited to be in the Pacific Northwest as an associate veterinarian with North Creek Pet Hospital. Her areas of interest include multi-modal pain management, surgery, and shelter medicine.
